Catholic Chicago Video Essays
In 2008 I conceived the idea of creating a series of online video essays for the Catholic Chicago exhibition  at the Chicago History Museum. To create the videos, I worked closely with curator Jill Grannan, educator Marie Scatena, and multimedia editor Maureen McManus. We developed three themes and storylines. “Growing Up Catholic” is my favorite of the three. My roles working on the video series were content strategy, story and sound editor, project manager, and creative lead.

Growing Up Catholic
Catholics share their memories of growing up in Chicago. Common themes emerge, including family traditions, the lasting impact of Catholic schools, and the rite of passage that is Confirmation.

The Eucharistic Congress - Chicago 1926
Historic photos and film tell the story of the International Eucharistic Congress of 1926. Experience the record-setting Chicago celebration that caught the world's attention.

Parish Life
Chicago Catholics from a variety of backgrounds describe important facets of parish life, including community, identity, service, and celebrations.
